“Dialogue between education in elder care profession and pension service industry” was held in Beijing on 18th, December, 2014. Zhao Xiaoyu, head of School of Nursing and Liu Yonggui, deputy dean of School of Humanities and Information Management of Chengdu Medical College; deputy director Li Maoquan and Li Xiaoqing and office administrator Ren Linlin of Collaborative Innovation Center of Sichuan for Elderly Care and Health were invited to attend the meeting  

The meeting was divided into several parts including presentations, face-to-face dialogue, international overview and job fair for graduates. It embodies “the comprehensive combination of education with the industry” by conducting theoretical discussion, communication across borders and arranging employment meeting for students. Governmental authorities, educational institutions, leading enterprises in pension service industry and more than 350 scholars and experts from 150 universities attended the meeting and among which 30 guests gave presentations on the theme of “Connection, Cooperation and Win-Win Development.”  

Authorized by Yu Xiaoping, President of Chengdu Medical College, Li Maoquan, deputy director of Collaborative Innovation Center of Sichuan for Elderly Care and Health, made a report on “Strategic training on professionals in pension service and elder-care in Chengdu Medical College” as a part of face-to-face dialogue. He shared the strategic thinking of our college on education of professionals in pension and elder care service and which was highly acknowledged by the attendants.
